EB3 Visa is an employment-based immigration visa that allows foreign skilled workers to permanently live and work in the United States. This category is reserved for candidates who have a minimum of two years of work experience, a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent or specialized skilled or unskilled workers. There are three main groups under the EB-3 visa category:

  1. Skilled Workers: This visa category is for skilled workers who have at least two years of training or work experience in their field.
  2. Professionals: This visa category is for professionals with a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent.
  3. Other Workers: This visa category is for the unskilled workers, who do not have the same level of qualifications as skilled workers or professionals.
To be eligible for an EB-3 visa, the applicant must have a job offer from a U.S. employer who is willing to sponsor them. The employer must also file an immigrant petition on behalf of the worker. Once the petition is approved, the applicant can apply for the EB3 visa at the U.S. consulate in their home country. The EB3 visa has a maximum validity of ten years and can be renewed indefinitely.
